Okay, so it’s only Christmas Eve…depending on what part of the world you are in. But I won’t be blogging tomorrow, so I wanted to say it today. For the past several days I’ve been sharing books and authors and promoting various things.

Right now though, I would like to take some time out and talk about something else. A home for the holidays.

Last year about this time (well actually it was December 20th 2011) I had to make a run to “town” (meaning a moderately sized city most likely considered a small town by most) for some last minute Christmas shopping with my parents while my husband and children stayed home in the warmth.

It was COLD. The actual temperature was in the 20’s and the wind was howling out of the north. It had snowed for the two days prior, our only real snowstorm last year…
